The company’s goal is to manufacture safe and effective medicinal products in accordance with the applicable pharmaceutical law requirements. The quality of the manufactured products is supervised by the Quality Control Department.

The Quality Control Department has laboratories equipped with modern instruments and an experienced team, which enables efficient and reliable testing. Confirmation of the high standards is provided by GMP certificates compliant with the European Directive 91/412/EEC, covering control testing of all forms of medicinal products, obtained on the basis of periodic inspections by the Main Pharmaceutical Inspector. The continuous development of the Quality Control Department resulted in the opening, in 2020, of a modern Animal Facility, which provides appropriate conditions for breeding, quarantine, and necessary procedures involving animals. The facility is equipped with rooms with infectious zones classified as BSL II and BSL III. The main purpose of the studies conducted there is the quality control of Biowet Puławy medicinal products. Analyses performed in the QC Animal Facility are carried out in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
